General Information

Student Code of Conduct: School students travelling on Trans North Bus & Coach Services are required to comply with the behavioural guidelines detailed in the Queensland Transport Code of conduct for school students travelling on buses. The code aims to assist school bus operators manage student behaviour and ensure the safety and comfort of students. Assistance: Bus passengers are asked to assist by making the seats in the front rows available for elderly or disabled travellers.

Fares: Please tender correct fare and be ready to pay on entry in order to avoid unnecessary delays.

Children: 15 years and over are required to pay adult fare, unless a full time student and able to present a Student Card on demand as identification.

Concession Fares: Concession fare passes must be shown to the driver or full fare will be charged.

Tickets: Tickets are issued for all fares paid. Please retain tickets until the end of the journey for presentation to inspectors if requested.

School Passes: To obtain a school bus pass, please apply to your local Trans North Bus & Coach Service depot. Damaged or lost passes can be renewed by applying at your local depot, however a fee will apply.

Food:Food and refreshments (including chewing gum) should not be consumed on the bus.

Smoking: Smoking is not permitted on the bus.

Balls, Skateboards and Scooters: Must be in a bag at all times on the bus.

Lost Property: Enquiries regarding lost property should be directed to your local Trans North Bus & Coach Service depot during office hours.
